There were shocking images of university campuses embroiled in pro-Palestine protests – including the closure of Jewish students Brett Gelman finds it disgusting.
We caught up with the “Stranger Things” star at LAX on Tuesday, where he weighed in on everything that’s going on at Columbia University and other schools…namely, protesters who agree with what’s happening in Gaza are turning out en masse gather and set up camp.

Much of this unrest has actually made its way west – including to UCLA… where a student was filmed this week apparently being blocked from entering campus by protesters.
He revealed that he was Jewish and claimed he was being discriminated against because of his Jewish identity – something that took X by storm… and many condemned the move. You can count Brett in the same camp… because he too finds what happened unfortunate.
A courageous Jewish UCLA student who was denied entry to the university building by anti-Israel protesters gives a powerful speech calling out the masked activists.
“While they hide behind their masks and hide who they are, we stand tall and proudly proclaim our message to the world.” pic.twitter.com/iZDZ0kjWsd

Check out what he has to say about all this… BG tells us he’s for free speech, but as soon as that turns into hate speech, that’s where he draws the line and calls BS.
UCLA students set up checkpoint to prevent JEWS from entering.
🇮🇱👨🎓 “You want to prevent Jewish students from entering, okay”
🇵🇸😷” …Are you a Zionist?”
🇮🇱👨🎓“Of course I am. Zionist”
🇵🇸😷“Well, we won’t let Zionists in.”

He also points out that if black students were other students who belonged to a certain minority group, were to be targeted in the way that Jewish students are currently, there would be immediate riots and these demonstrations immediately would be ended.
But because the students in the crosshairs are Jews, he feels that society is turning a blind eye and ignoring the pain and suffering of Jews, allowing history to repeat itself.
Obviously it’s a contentious issue… and obviously some Jews feel attacked by protests.
Considering how ugly these are getting, you have to imagine that it’s only going to get worse before it gets better. Neither side seems willing to give in – and this problem is sweeping the nation.
