Stassi Schroeder founded her own tortured poets department on the seedy streets of West Hollywood.

On the Wednesday, April 24 episode of her podcast, “Stassi,” the former Vanderpump Rules Star, 35, gushed about her love to Taylor Swift‘s new album, The Tortured Poets Department – and highlighted one title in particular.

“Let’s talk about my real favorite song that I’m going to make my entire personality, that’s what I decided,” Schoeder said. “And that’s ‘Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?’ I’ve listened to it about 78 times. I want it to be my anthem.”

While Schoeder praised the song’s lyrical content, she admitted that it didn’t necessarily apply to her current state of Zen.

“I don’t feel like the lyrics make any sense at all where I’m at,” Schroeder continued. “I don’t feel like I have to prove anything to anyone. I don’t try to fight my way back into anything. I don’t feel like I’ve been insulted. I don’t feel like anyone hurt me. I don’t feel rejected.”

However, the song – which includes the viral phrase “You wouldn’t spend an hour in the institution where they raised me” – began to take on a nostalgic tone for Schoeder, inspiring countless internet memes.

“The more I read the lyrics, the more I think to myself, ‘Okay, so they locked her up and trained her and then called her crazy when she turned into what they trained her to be,'” she analyzed. “I’m like, ‘Okay, that’s Bravo.'”

Schroeder appeared in the first eight seasons of Bravo Vanderpump Rules before being fired in June 2020 for making racially insensitive comments about castmate Faith Stowers.

“When you’re on a reality show on Bravo, you’re trained a little bit,” Schroeder explained. “I make this song work for me. I’m just adapting it to my life. I’ll find a way to build a relationship.”

Schroeder further claimed that the actors on Vanderpump Rules are “rewarded for bad behavior.”

“You’re locked up and they train you to keep doing bad things or saying bad things,” she continued. “You get rewarded when you do shitty things. You will be rewarded with screen time. You will be rewarded with more attention. Thats how it works.”
