This alleged incident occurred after Drake’s security guard was shot outside the same Toronto home on Tuesday (May 7). He has not yet addressed the incident on social media, but his team is reportedly cooperating with the investigation.
Details of the attempted trespassing at Drake’s Toronto home

According to the outlet’s “sources with direct knowledge,” a man attempted to get past Drake’s black mansion gates on Wednesday (May 8). However, he was stopped outside the house by security guards before he could enter the property.
Toronto police were called to Drake’s home again. Security held the man until they arrived. TMZ reports that Toronto police told them the man was “arrested under the Mental Health Act.” It is unclear whether charges will be filed against the man as he was intercepted before entering the gates of the embassy – as it is also known.
It is unclear at this time whether the man has had any mental episodes. However, a local reporter claimed the man said he was at the Toronto house “to see Drake.”

Local police are still investigating the shooting that injured a security guard outside Drake’s Toronto home.
At a news conference Tuesday, an inspector refused to clarify whether the accident was a drive-by or stop-and-shoot situation. They also did not confirm whether more than one suspect was involved, but said at least one fled the scene in a vehicle.
Although police reportedly obtained surveillance video of the shooting, they did not release it because they had concerns about the video quality. That’s why they didn’t publish any descriptions of the car or the person(s) who fled.
When police first arrived at the scene, they found a male security guard unconscious and bleeding from a gunshot wound. Paramedics took him to hospital in “serious condition,” where he reportedly underwent surgery.
As the news spread, people online speculated whether Drake’s ongoing rap feud with Kendrick Lamar had anything to do with the shooting. As previously reported, K Dot used a photo of an aerial view of Drake’s Toronto home as the cover for his latest dissident track, “Not Like Us.”
