According to reports, Shruti Haasan and Santanu Hazarika have broken up. According to a recent tweet from paparazzo account Viral Bhayani, the two had broken up and unfollowed each other on social media. Furthermore, Shruti just posted a mysterious comment on Instagram saying, “It’s been a crazy ride learning so much about myself and people.”

However, neither Shruti nor Santanu have released any statement regarding their apparent breakup.
Shruti and Santanu have been together for a long time and even lived together for the past few years. They were often photographed together and were never afraid to show their affection for each other in public. Santanu is a well-known doodle artist who also works in other media. He has worked with some well-known celebrities including Raftaar, Divine and Ritviz.
Earlier this year, social media sensation Orry or Orhan Awatramani sparked wedding rumors when he referred to Santanu as Shruti’s wife. Shruti later stated that they were not married. “Well, I’m not married. Why should I hide this when I would have been open about everything else? LOL. So people who don’t know me at all, please calm down,” she explained on Instagram Stories.
Previously, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Santanu spoke about her love and her constant public appearances. He claimed that it could be “demanding” and discussed the backlash he received for being Shruti’s friend.
“I get a lot of racist comments. I mean, that’s very rude and mean. But I mean, for both of us, we’re each other’s support system in a way that’s very supportive. We are very supportive of the work we do. We are the art form of mutual respect and we are each other’s sounding board. So when we work on something, we are the first critics of each other’s work. And I mean, for us, work, art and expression are a priority and everything else is secondary. So this mental space and focus helps us ignore all the negative aspects of being in public,” he said.
Meanwhile, Shruti Haasan was last seen at work Lettuce. The film also starred Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles and was well received by everyone. Lettuce grossed more than Rs 700 crore at the box office worldwide.
