Sequel to Red, White and Royal Blue with Nicholas Galitzine in the Works

Nicholas Galitzine And Taylor Zakhar Perez are back for another piece. The Red, white and royal blue The co-stars are expected to return for a sequel to the hit 2023 romantic comedy.

Amazon MGM Studios announced Friday that the film is currently in development and both Galitzine and Perez are on board to reprise their roles as Prince Henry and Alex Claremont-Diaz. Plot details are currently being kept secret as a script is being worked on with screenwriter Matthew López and author Casey McQuiston.

The studio also released a new teaser image showing a dilapidated white cake with British and American flags and a candle with the number two in between. The slogan is: “Want another piece?”

The cake, of course, plays a central role in the relationship between Prince Henry and Alex in the first film.

Red, white and royal blue was adapted from McQuiston’s bestselling novel of the same name. In the film, Galitzine and Perez play high-profile friends who become lovers – Perez as America’s first son and Galitzine as a British prince.
