Alex Hall And Kayla Cardona seemed to have buried the hatchet in Season 3 of Sell the OCbut it didn’t last long.
“Well, I thought we had a moment to start over and after we finished filming she continued to talk bad about me,” Kayla, 33, exclusively shared Us weekly ahead of the season premiere on Friday, May 3rd. “[She] I ended up blocking myself and some other of my family members, which I found very strange. But yes, I already knew that apology was insincere and it showed in her actions.”
Alex, 33, previously told People in December 2022 that Kayla needed a “reality check and perhaps a psychiatrist” for her search Tyler Stanaland. (Tyler, 34, claimed in Season 1 that Kayla tried to kiss him multiple times, even though he was married at the time Brittany Snow. Kayla downplayed the allegations and claimed Tyler had also been flirting with her.)
When Season 3 began filming, the Oppenheim Group agents discussed Alex People interview before it went public and theorized that she had been talking about Kayla, who then confronted Alex. The Netflix star then lied and said the quote didn’t apply to Kayla at all. When the full interview was released, it emerged that Alex had spoken about Kayla’s mental health. Alex later apologized to Kayla for her comments.
Kayla further remarked Us that she no longer trusts Alex and no longer wants to pursue friendship in the future.
Kayla’s connection to Tyler, who left the Oppenheim group before season three, has been an integral part of the Netflix show since the series premiere. (Alex had also expressed interest in Tyler after his divorce and they kissed at the end of season two. They are not currently together.)

I definitely felt the reciprocation, several times. But nothing has ever happened.”
She continued: “We are all very strong personalities. We all flirt with each other.”
Tyler, meanwhile, claimed Us Back then, he never flirted with Kayla and compared their relationship to a pair of siblings at “summer camp.”

Tyler and Brittany, 38, announced their separation in September 2022 after two years of marriage. The Pitch perfect Star has since blamed it on her divorce Sell the OC.
“What happened for me – and I’m not going to talk about this specifically because I think this ties into a lot of my past relationships or things that I tell my friends – is actually recognizing and seeing them as real people, and “Not that idealized version of what you thought or what you built, but who they really are,” Brittany said during a March episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, calling the reality TV show a “neon -F-King sign” in red flag.
She added: “There was a lot I wasn’t aware of and I have to say that. So, I’m going to say what people think happened.”
