Getty Images(3)Scheana Shay wasn’t surprised when Jax Taylor And Brittany Cartwright breaks up, but she puts the blame squarely on Taylor – and she doesn’t think much of him to begin with.
“I think Jax still has a lot of work to do on himself, and [Brittany] deserves to be treated better and with respect and he didn’t,” Shay, 38, said during her appearance on Tuesday, April 9 Watch what happens live with Andy Cohen.
When asked what she thought about Taylor, 44, “liking” a fan’s Instagram comment that suggested he should have married his ex Stassi Schroeder Instead she said, “What an idiot.”
Taylor and Schroeder, 35, were together for the first two seasons Vanderpump Rules before breaking up when Schroeder learned that Taylor had cheated on her with her co-star Kristen Doute.
Shay had a lot to say about Taylor and criticized him even more for the things he said about her specifically.
“He had the audacity to say some very false narratives about our show and about me as a mother,” she said.

Cartwright, 35, had a similar reaction to Taylor’s Instagram like. On Tuesday, April 8, episode of Amanda HirschOn the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Hirsch asked Cartwright if she had seen the reaction on social media.
“Very strange,” she said. “This is so scary.”
Shay added WWHL that she also wasn’t surprised to hear that Cartwright and Taylor had a largely sexless host marriage Andy Cohen He added that Cartwright complained directly to Shay about it.

In an interview with Us weeklyCartwright described her marriage as akin to living with a roommate and said she had reached her “breaking point.”
“I felt like I wasn’t good enough,” she said. “When you feel like your partner doesn’t want you and they’re also being mean to you, you ask yourself, ‘What am I doing here?'”
She added that it’s up to Taylor to do more than just say “I’m sorry” and move on if the relationship is to be saved.
“If things don’t change, we can’t be together because we’ll be unhappy for the rest of our lives,” she said. “I don’t want to be unhappy for the rest of my life. I don’t want to be in a sexless marriage for the rest of my life. I don’t want to argue with my husband for the rest of my life.”
Taylor and Cartwright met in 2015 and married in 2019. They have a son, Cruz, 3, born in 2021.
