Savannah Chrisley Told Sister Lindsie Not to Attend the Parent Roll Call

Savannah Chrisley confirms her sister, Lindsie ChrisleyAbsent from her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, appealed April 19.

Todd and Julie were convicted of federal fraud charges in November 2022 and was sent to prison in January 2023. Although the reality stars were originally sentenced to a total of 19 years in prison, Todd is serving his reduced ten-year sentence in Pensacola, Florida, while Julie is serving a reduced five-year sentence in Lexington, Kentucky.

During the appeal – which included Savannah, her boyfriend, Robert Shiver, Chase Chrisley, Grayson Chrisley and Faye “Nanny Faye” Chrisley – Todd and Julie’s attorneys argued that there was misconduct in their case.

On Thursday, the Chrisley knows best alum conducted a question and answer session on Instagram where she clarified that her older sister was absent.

“Did you hear on Lindsie’s podcast today that you privately told her NOT to participate?” one user asked.

Savannah continued to clarify things.

“I didn’t want to address this publicly at all because I didn’t feel like it was necessary, but since Lindsie felt the need to go on her podcast and discuss it to help her get her ratings, I will I brought it up.” she said in the video, recorded during a walk. “I definitely told her privately not to attend. I told her she wasn’t wanted by my father didn’t want to be there and that he didn’t care about a relationship with her.”

She continued: “I said all these things. I’m more than happy I said that and that’s the appeal of my parents, they have the right to say who they want there and who they don’t.”

Savannah, 26, added that Lindsie’s alleged cooperation with prosecutors in the case contributed to her absence.

“And because of her involvement in the government, my parents didn’t want her there,” she claimed. “She was involved and threatened to sue me. That’s okay, because there’s nothing I say that can’t be supported by the court record. The FBI read a letter Lindsie wrote to them in court, so she’s right.” “I didn’t want her there.”

The Unlocked The podcast host claimed that Lindsie’s mention of the appeal came at a time when “very damning articles” were being published about her, and that her comments were part of her attempt to gain more “fame and attention.”

Savannah also spoke about her sister’s lack of confidence in her upcoming series, which focuses on justice reform and her parents’ case.

“With a new show that they don’t believe is happening, it’s less of a reality show and more of a true crime show that discusses our case in depth,” Savannah said of the series’ structure . “There will be a legal analysis there that will be discussed about it, and it will also address all of the prison reform advocacy work that I’m doing along with some of my lawyers.”

Savannah ended her conversation about Lindsie with one last little shade.

“So God bless her and she should probably think about her own disastrous life before she talks about me on her podcast,” she said. “Because I can do the same thing.”

Savannah’s comments come after Lindsie addressed her absence from the appeal on Wednesday’s episode Southern tea Podcast and confirmed that she wasn’t there.

“I feel like it was in the best interest for me and everyone else,” Lindsie shared. “My sister let us know privately that she didn’t want us at the hearing and I was told that there would be problems if we were there and that we would be asked to leave. And it was a little strange–” That’s a shock to me because I personally feel like I was taken advantage of at the trial, and then things changed when the convictions came down and all the relationships changed quite a bit.”

Linsie’s brief explanations on the subject ended with her being optimistic that her family would move forward on their different paths.

“I say all this to say that I don’t wish anything bad on anyone,” she said. “I hope everyone can move on with their lives, including me. “I’m just focusing on my mental health, raising Jackson and my personal life right now.”

Lindsie made it clear one last time that it was her family who had asked her not to attend, even though her siblings had asked to appear publicly in support.

“I also just want to make it clear that no one has control over who can or cannot participate,” she said. “The mind control and manipulation is overwhelming to me and I will leave it at that.”

Last year, Savannah and Lindsie opened up about their estranged relationship on their respective podcasts. In October, Lindsie said this She was willing to work privately to repair their relationship.

In March, Savannah was optimistic about her parents’ appeal hearing. In conversation with ETthe previous Masked singer The contestant shared that she hoped to have her parents back home.

“Of course I hope to have her home maybe later in the summer,” she said.

Savannah even expressed her own potential for a career in law.

“That’s what I would do when my mom gets home,” she said. “I told Grayson I would do it. So when mom comes home, of course it’s her and Chloe, or if mom and dad both come home, I would definitely go back to school and try to become a lawyer. This is it.” It’s never too late to make your dreams come true. If I could become a lawyer at 30 or 32, maybe I would just do it.
