In an interview with Galatta, Sanjeeda Shaikh spoke about how everything that happened to her was just her experience. She mentioned that it only made her a good person. However, she mentioned that the actress also lost many friends during this difficult time. But she mentioned that she was happy that neither of them were in her life anymore. Sanjeeda shared that she is doing better without them and stated:
“There are people who are no longer my friends. I should just send them love for not being in my life anymore because I’m better off without them. I’m so happy now. These are the experiences in life that teach you. You.” I don’t need that many people. It’s good what they did to me.

Sanjeeda’s legal battle with her sister-in-law
Furthermore, Sanjeeda was also involved in a legal battle with her sister-in-law Zakerabanu Zakir Hussain Bagban. According to some reports, on May 29, 2017, Zakerabanu filed a domestic violence lawsuit against Sanjeeda, her brother Anas Abdul Rahim Shaikh and her mother Anisha Shaikh. Sanjeeda’s sister-in-law was then reportedly of the opinion that her husband and in-laws started shouting and beating her while she was on the phone with her father on May 27, 2024. According to Zakerabanu, the sheikhs did this because they did not want her in their house in Mumbai.
