The two left The Guy case Red carpet on Tuesday, April 30, in the same costumes – and full of prosthetics – of a now viral star SNL Sketch in which Gosling (43) and Day (44) were dressed as doppelgangers of the iconic cartoon characters.
Videos from the red carpet on Tuesday showed the actors standing awkwardly on the red carpet while staying in character. Both Gosling and Day kept serious faces as cameras snapped photos of them. Finally, Gosling signaled to Day and the duo moved on. The stars looked around in confusion the entire time they were on the carpet, extending the part even further SNL Sketch last month.

Gosling and Day’s “Beavis and Butt-Head” sketch became an instant star SNLis the April 13th episode, especially after Heidi Gardner broke character during the live show. Gosling and Day played audience members during a NewsNation livestream event focused on AI Kenan Thompson had the character of a tech mogul. While 40-year-old Gardner, who served as the show’s host, asked him questions, 45-year-old Thompson was constantly distracted by the fact that Gosling and Day looked like Beavis and Butt-Head.
When Gardner turned to look at her co-star, she began to giggle, which also made Gosling laugh for the rest of the skit.
After the now-iconic “Beavis and Butt-Head” sketch, Gosling continued to giggle SNL Perfomance. Another notable moment was the “Doctor” sketch with Bowen Yang, in which the duo – both wearing long wigs – have to tell a family that their loved one didn’t make it.

“I didn’t know he would reach the level he did [in ‘Doctor’]. I think the Beavis and Butt-Head sketch was in front of us, and that kind of prepared us for it,” Yang, 33, said Us weekly exclusively last month. “We only saw the wig that day. We just told the hair department, Jodi Mancuso, she is a genius. My medical perspective was determined from the outset Nate Bargatze Consequence. So we thought, let’s just do something for him that’s blonde but also kind of similar, asymmetrical, crazy, whatever. And they had so much fun doing it. He blew on the bangs as he did so [the] ran through and it made everyone laugh.”
Gardner broke down again during this sketch.
“Heidi, I’ll highlight her again. I think she just laughed all week and then lost her mind,” Yang continued. “But it was so much fun.”
