Getty Images (2)Ryan Gosling admitted to being deep in his feelings and crying Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well” co-star Emily Blunt in his new film, The Guy case – and joked that he was completely surprised that the vulnerable moment was included in the film.
“It was actually just me,” Gosling, 43, said Entertainment tonight in an interview published on Tuesday, April 23. “I didn’t know they were filming.”
The Guy case is based on the 1980s television series of the same name in which he starred Lee Majors. In the film version, Gosling portrays former stuntman Colt Seavers, while 41-year-old Blunt plays former cinematographer and director Jody Moreno, who also happens to be Colt’s ex-girlfriend.
Describing the tender Swiftie moment from the film, Blunt joked that she “couldn’t get Gosling out of his emotions in that scene,” adding that the song was “so perfect.”

In a separate interview, Blunt raved about Gosling’s performance.
“The scene was kind of scripted to a certain extent, and then we were able to just improvise, and that’s always fun because he’s such a master at it and it’s so much fun to do scenes like that with Ryan,” she said to Collider in an interview published on Tuesday, April 23. “I think it’s fun to play that scene because it’s kind of a follow-up to the fire scene. Maybe she’s a little ashamed of what she did, but she also kind of loved it.” . It feels pretty clean afterwards. They awkwardly try to find their way back to each other. It was so much fun.”
Swift, 34, originally released “All Too Well” on her fourth studio album. Redin 2012. After a dispute over ownership of her masters, Swift re-recorded the song as “Taylor’s Version” and released a “10 Minute Version” as part of the re-recorded album Red (Taylor’s version) in November 2021.
Earlier this month, Gosling and Blunt performed their own version of “All Too Well” as the Barbie Star hosted Saturday Night Live for the third time on April 13th for the promotion The Guy case.
