Rubina Dilaik opened up about her mother’s guilt that she faced when she left her daughter for four days
Motherhood is not easy and every woman faces her own struggles. Recently, in an interaction with Juhi Godambe, Rubina spoke about her struggles as a mother. The actress revealed the mother’s guilt she went through when she had to leave her twin daughters for four days to promote her film. Rubina revealed that when you go through a lot, you feel a sense of heaviness not only in your heart but also in your body.

Recalling that moment, Rubina explained that it was not easy to leave children alone and her body also felt the pain; She was having cramps and her period at the same time. In the midst of dealing with all the emotions and pain, Rubina forgot her breast pump. She was quoted as saying:
“These feelings of guilt also have physical effects. From the time I left the house until the next day I had strange body aches. I had my cramps, my period started. My body went through so-so. So much. I did.” I forgot my breast pump at home.
Rubina further added that she was experiencing unbearable pain at night and was looking for a breast pump to express it. She called her mother and it was late at night, she got a call and was crying loudly. Rubina was quoted as saying:
“Raat ko, I was in excruciating pain. They were hard as rocks, I was looking for a manual breast pump, Mil Jaye. I cried and I licked and it hurt and they were hard as rocks. I called my mother and I told her that I am not feeling, I also called Abhinav, raat ke 12 baje, he said please look for it in the medical store. One in the night, I pump out and cry, it’s not just saying goodbye, but also saying goodbye to yourself and understanding these many things.”

Rubina Dilaik spoke to other celebrity mothers on her chat show. Nobody told me. During the episode, Rubina recalled a night when her mother slept with her and her children were sleeping in the crib. When she woke up late at night to feed one of her daughters, another one woke up and she became very angry. Rubina was quoted as saying:
“A time like this came, I remember it was 2:30 or 3 in the morning. Mom slept with me and Abhinav was there. When we first started, we told her that if I wasn’t able to eat, we should help mom.” . Tonight I will feed you.
Rubina further stated that she woke up her husband Abhinav and told him what happened and that it was a sign of a problem. Her husband lovingly asked her what she wanted to eat and she told him halwa with lots of ghee. After this incident, she decided to seek counseling and called her nutritionist to help her. The actress stated that she is now well prepared for the postpartum journey.
