Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gets Stuck in Wet Sand on the Beach: Rescued [Video]

Driving on the beach is extremely difficult. If you don’t have experience or don’t have the right vehicle, the chances of you getting stuck in the sand are very high. We saw people driving 4x4s on the beach and getting stuck. We have mostly seen drivers engaging in such stupid stunts. Here we have a video that proves us wrong. Here, a Royal Enfield rider who got adventurous and drove along the beach got stuck in the wet sand.

The video was shared by Kolkatar Pulak on his Facebook profile. The exact location where this happened is unknown, but from the voiceover it looks like the bike was on a beach somewhere on the East Coast. In the video, we see two men riding along the beach on a Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycle.

They initially rode at eye level with hard sand. The pillion on the bike was probably taking a video, and they were probably trying to take a video. In the next clip, we see the Royal Enfield bike stuck in the sand on the same beach.

It looks like the rider had too much confidence in his riding skills and decided to push the bike a little closer to the water. It looks like it was low tide as the sand was quite wet, but there were no waves.

Biker stuck on the beach

The biker was probably not aware that cycling on wet sand is quite risky. In fact, riding a two-wheeler on sand is itself a tricky task. When the loose sand is mixed with water, it changes character and behaves like clay or sticky earth. That’s what happened in this case. The rear tire of the car sank completely into the sand.

We can see the rider and pillion trying with all their might to pull the motorcycle out. It looks like the rider accelerated sharply to get his bike out, which made the situation worse for him.

When driving on sand or on the beach, you should always maintain momentum. With a bike it becomes a difficult task as the risk of losing control of the bike is higher if you are not experienced.

The handlebars often move uncontrollably on sand because the surface is loose. This forces the rear to slide out and falls often occur. The sand in this case was so sticky that three people can be seen trying to pull the bike out, but it’s no use. The Royal Enfield Classic is a heavy bike and this made things worse. The driver really shouldn’t have tested his luck. Both the front and back of the bike are stuck firmly on the beach.

We assume the bike was recovered before the flood began. In the past we have seen several cases of people driving on the beach and getting into trouble. In fact, it is illegal to drive on the beach and authorities can actually take action against violators. The only beach in India where driving is allowed is Muzhappilangad Beach in Kannur in Kerala.
