Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) faced each other in the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The match between the two teams took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday (4 May).
Royal Challengers Bengaluru recorded their third consecutive win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. They defeated Gujarat Titans by 4 wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium to win their fourth match of the tournament.

The Gujarat Titans lost the toss and were asked to bat first. However, it wasn’t a great performance for them as they lost wickets at regular intervals and it was the third time in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 that they gave their best, which is the highest performance by any other team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 tournament.
The Gujarat Titans had the worst possible start with the bat as they lost Wriddhiman Saha (1) early in the second over. After that, captain Shubman Gill (2) also lost his life and they came under immense pressure at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Things got even worse for them when Sai Sudharsan (6) also died and they were left reeling at 19/3. But then Shah Rukh Khan (37) and David Miller (30) brought their team back into the game. The duo added 61 runs for the 4th wicket and put Royal Challengers Bengaluru under pressure.
However, RCB made a comeback and contributed wickets at regular intervals. Rahul Tewatia (35) played a crucial hand with the bat but could not end the innings on the high. Rashid Khan (18) made a crucial contribution as Gujarat Titans managed 147 runs on the board.
For Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Yash Dayal was the pick of the bowlers with his figures of 2/21. Apart from him, Mohammed Siraj and Vijaykumar Vyshak also picked two wickets while Cameron Green and Karn Sharma grabbed a scalp each.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) had a brutal start with the bat. Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis came out in full force and attacked the Gujarat Titans bowlers right from the start at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Virat Kohli (42) and Faf du Plessis (64) added 92 runs for the opening partnership. However, they lost six quick wickets after that and were under pressure. They were reeling at 117/6. But Dinesh Karthik (21*) and Swapnil Singh (15*) held their nerve and took their team home with four wickets.
