Nearly a year after the Puerto Rican singer and “BIZCOCHITO” crooner, both 31, broke off their engagementAlejandro has covered up a tattoo on his stomach dedicated to his former partner.
After both singers performed at the 2024 Met Gala Monday night In New York City, the “Toda” hitmaker was spotted leaving an after-party wearing a see-through shirt that exposed his chest and stomach just enough for fans to notice the new butterfly tattoo in the same spot, where Rosalía’s name used to be.

Last July, Alejandro spoke out on Twitter about the breakup of his relationship with the Spanish singer-songwriter and dispelled rumors of infidelity. At the same time, he shared that they actually broke up “months ago.”
“In recent years, you have all been part of my professional successes and also of all the happy moments that I have experienced as a couple. I’ve never seen myself in a situation where I had to think that I had to do it.” “Yes, a few months ago Rosi and I broke off our compromise (aka engagement),” Alejandro wrote in the long statementoriginally written in Spanish.
Just a day later, the “Con Altura” singer ended all speculation about their breakup on her own social media pages, sharing the details of the split in an Instagram story.
“I love, respect and admire Rauw,” she wrote. “We know what we experienced. This is not an easy moment, so thank you for your understanding and respect.”
Alejandro and Rosalía met for the first time in 2019 and two years later they made their relationship public. Since their split in 2023, the singers have both been linked to other high-profile celebrities such as Jeremy Allen-White for Rosalía and Camila Cabello for Alejandro. While ET confirmed that Cabello, 27, and Alejandro were not together after they were spotted together, Rosalía previously was spotted kissing Shameless alum.
In January, White, 33, visited the Critics Choice Awards 2024 — Where He picked up another Best Actor in a Comedy Series win for The bear – and was seen wearing the same $875 Tiffany & Co. Amapola brooch that Alejandro wore when he went out with the singer.
The “DILUVIO” hitmaker wore the brooch with Rosalía by his side at the 23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards in November 2022, and fans have since dubbed the boutonnière the “Rosalía Rose.”
By the time, ET spoke with the couple on the red carpet and they shared their excitement about publicly sharing their love with the world, several months after they first sparked dating rumors.
“We’re really happy, we’re grateful and we’re just enjoying the moment,” he said.
