Current photos from the sets of Vettaiyan have surfaced on social media. They feature legendary stars Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan sharing a frame, striking a pose and hugging each other.

In the photos, both actors are dressed in suits. Amitabh is wearing a dark blue blazer, white shirt, gray vest and trousers while Rajinikanth is wearing a dark blue blazer, black shirt and trousers. In the first photo they are standing next to each other. In the second smile, they smile at each other and hug. The two actors were last seen on screen together in the film 33 years ago buzz. Vettaiyan will be Amitabh’s Tamil debut.

Last week, VettaiyanThe producers of “Lyca Productions” shared news about the film’s premiere on social media. The production house took to its X account on Sunday to share the new poster of the film. It showed Rajinikanth aiming a pistol at someone off-screen. He wore black sunglasses and a blue shirt and was smiling. The caption read: “In theaters worldwide in October 2024. Kuri vechachu.” VETTAIYAN is ready to take the lead in cinemas this OCTOBER (calendar emoticon). Get ready to hunt the prey!” The production house announced the title teaser of the film on the occasion of Rajinikanth’s 73rd birthday.
The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier and Dushara Vijayan. The film’s music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Rajinikanth was spotted shooting the film at several locations including Trivandrum, Tirunelveli and Tuticorin.
Rajinikanth was last seen in Lal salaam, a film starring his daughter Aishwarya. The Tamil sports drama dealt with themes such as caste oppression and religious persecution. It received mixed reviews upon its debut. The main actors in Lal salaam are Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, with Rajinikanth appearing in an extended cameo as Moideen Bhai.
