Prince Harry Snubs King Charles on Rare Visit to London

Prince Harry has made a very public attack on his famous father.

But he did it rather shyly.

For those who don’t know, the Duke of Sussex returned to his home country on May 8 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Even though Harry hadn’t seen his father, a certain monarch named King Charles, for a while – and even though King Charles had been diagnosed with cancer this spring – both son and father did not Meet during Harry’s visit.

The official royal line?

Charles was just too busy to hang out with Harry.

We are sure that it has nothing at all to do with the fact that Harry de facto resigned from office four years ago and moved to the United States with his wife Meghan Markle.

Or with a memoir written by Harry in which he dragged his entire family around and called them racists, classists, and all around horrible.

After King Charles snubbed his son, a spokesman for Harry said the following this week:

“In response to the many inquiries and ongoing speculation as to whether the Duke will meet his father during his visit to the UK this week, unfortunately this will not be possible due to His Majesty’s busy schedule.

“The Duke is of course understanding of his father’s busy schedule with his commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him again soon.”

Sounds good. Sounds lovely.

But something Harry did while in the UK on Wednesday led some observers to believe he was less than happy with the situation.

According to The Mirror, Harry wore four medals on his jacket during his appearance at the Invictus Games:

His combat medal for Afghanistan; Queen Elizabeth Golden Jubilee Medal; Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal; and the Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Medal.

However, the Duke notably did NOT wear his Royal Coronation Medal.

Interestingly, we’ve heard that Kate Middleton has been taking cues from Prince Harry for some time now she fights cancer.

But the same doesn’t seem to be true for King Charles.

“Harry has made things very difficult for himself by saying such cruel and hurtful things about Camilla,” an insider recently told The Daily Beast about Charles’ wife, adding in that report:

“Charles loves his sons, but he also loves his wife.

“The last few months have made it very clear how important it is; She was the one who held up the whole building.”
