“The walking sounded aggressive. “You have to walk a lot,” said Hudgens, 35, who is currently pregnant with her husband Cole Tucker‘s first baby, she said of her decision during an interview with hustle and bustle.
Hudgens has long been a fixture at Coachella. Over the years, she has been known to wear outfits appropriate to the free-spirited nature of music festivals, such as feathered hair extensions, floral crowns, and flowing clothing.
During an April 2019 interview with W In News magazine, the actress noted that she had been to the event at least 10 times and responded to her reputation as the Queen of Coachella.

“I mean, whenever you’re called the queen of something, it’s very flattering, so I’ll take the title. But I think people think of Coachella as something different than it is for me,” she explained. “People think that I have a stylist to dress me, do my makeup and have security. I literally try to stay under the radar as much as possible and evade like a ninja.”

“It’s so fun to dress however you want, and I definitely do that,” she told E! News in April 2022. “It’s really nice to be seen. That’s what we all want: to be seen and feel safe to express ourselves. Coachella has always been a place where I have felt safe to express myself.”

Hudgens shared a throwback photo of one of her 2022 Coachella looks — a knitted pink bikini top paired with matching wide-leg pants and a flowy button-up blouse — and told her Instagram followers that she would be skipping this year’s festivities.
“For me there is no Coachellarrr this year. I hope you all have the time of your life,” she wrote via Instagram on April 13, the first weekend of the festival. Coachella 2024 performers included Royal wool, Sabrina Carpenter, Suki Waterhouse, Ice seasoning, Grimes And Doja cat.

She debuted her baby bump at the Oscars in February, interviewing stars on the red carpet while wearing a black turtleneck dress that hugged her growing bump.

Hudgens and Tucker confirmed their romance in February 2021 and got engaged in December 2022. They tied the knot in Tulum a year later. Hudgens said she saw a future with the baseball player from the start.
“I knew it,” she recalled during an April 2023 appearance Today. “After our first weekend together, I called my sister and said, ‘I think I just found my future husband.'”
