Parineeti Chopra Reveals That She Couldn’t Afford Rs 4 Lakh per Month for Fitness Trainers and Nutritionists

Parineeti Chopra spoke for the first time about not being able to afford fitness trainers and dietitians

Recently, in a podcast with Raj Shamani, Parineeti spoke for the first time about her financial difficulties at the start of her career. She revealed that she wasn’t making much money and people advised her to quit Bollywood. Parineeti stated that she does not come from a wealthy background and she was asked to hire a personal trainer and a nutritionist to lose weight and both cost Rs. 2 lakh per month.

Parineeti revealed that she did not come from a wealthy background and came from a middle-class family. She added that people who were already in the business would often judge her. Parineeti was quoted as saying:

“I don’t come from a very rich background. Actually, I am a very simple middle class girl. I really don’t understand Bollywood. I really don’t know how people in Mumbai operate. I don’t have that.” These high-flying friends have no trainer, no stylist, everything is already ready for me. And people who were already from here and already knew this world often judged me.

Parineeti added that she was unable to pay Rs. 4 lakh as she didn’t earn that much money. It was her third film and she had earned only Rs. 5 lakhs for her first film, Ladies against Ricky Bahl. She added that she went to her co-actor, who grew up in Bombay, and he said that she should give up films if she couldn’t afford the expensive films. She said:

“I thought, ‘I don’t have to pay Rs 4 lakh a month. I don’t deserve this money. This is my third film. And I remember going to one of my co-actors who’s definitely grown up in Bombay and he said, ‘Why don’t you hire these people?’ I said, ‘Look, but I really can’t “I got 5 lakh rupees for my first film (Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl). He was like, ‘If you can’t afford it, you shouldn’t be in this profession.’ And I felt like that was so wrong on so many levels.”

When Parineeti Chopra spoke about her weight gain

For her latest film, Parineeti had gained a lot of weight. In an Instagram post, Parineeti once shared a video compilation of her body transformation. The actress revealed that she gained 15kg for her film. Amar Singh Chamkila, which will be released on Netflix. She added that for the last six months, her life revolved around AR Rahman’s recording studio and eating junk food at home.

Parineeti further revealed that she has been working hard in the gym to get fit again. In the video, she was seen doing heavy exercises and her transformation was incredible. She wrote:

“I spent 6 months last year singing in Rahman Sir’s studio and then went home to eat as much junk as I could to gain 15 KILOS for Chamkila! (Soon on Netflix) Music and food. That was my routine. Now.” The fact that the film is finished is the opposite. I miss the studio and trying to look like myself again. But everything is hard for you, sir. There are still many centimeters to go.”
