Olivia Wilde simply gave a timeless silhouette a sexy and modern upgrade.
Wilde, 40, attended the opening ceremony of Tiffany & Co.’s “Tiffany Wonder” exhibition in Tokyo on Thursday, April 11, wearing a little black dress. Viewed from the front, Wilde’s dress featured a sweetheart neckline and a sheath dress-inspired construction that elegantly hugged her figure. As she turned to the side and posed for photographers, the dress offered a skin-baring surprise thanks to the carefully placed slits and open back, giving the classic dress a modern and youthful feel.
Wilde paired the design – of course – with jewelry from Tiffany & Co. and black sandals. She wore her hair in a high ponytail and opted for soft glam with warm eyeshadow, rosy cheeks and a glossy pink lip.
When it comes to fashion, Wilde values an unwavering aesthetic.
At the Vanity Fair 2024 Oscar party last month, she wore a plunging black Carolina Herrera dress. The floor-length dress had an Old Hollywood feel, but was also right on trend thanks to the ruffles on the sides. Wilde added drama with minimal makeup and let her striking cat eye stand out.
In February, Wilde revived pencil skirts at Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week – but with a twist. It came in the form of cargo pants and she paired the piece with a sheer tank top that exposed her breasts. She accessorized with oversized sunglasses and leather gloves.
Wilde wasn’t the only one baring all at the Tiffany & Co. preview. Zoe Kravitz, Elsa Hosk, Purple moss And Georgia May Jagger also frees the nipple.
Kravitz, 35, went braless under a sheer brown dress and shiny pumps. For her part, Hosk, 35, wore a plunging polka dot top under a pinstripe skirt suit. Moss, 21, showed off her figure in a form-fitting black dress and Jagger’s look mirrored Wilde’s attire.
