Getty Images (3)Meghan Markle recruits her famous friends to try out American Riviera Orchard before it is sold to the general public.
In mid-April, some big names gave their Instagram followers a glimpse of Markle’s upcoming brand when the Duchess of Sussex sent out packages containing American Riviera Orchard’s first-ever product – a jar of jam.
Meghan, 42, even added her own personal touch to each jar, using her calligraphy skills to write the brand’s name on each label on the jam jar. Each label also featured Montecito, where Meghan and her husband Prince Harry live.
American Riviera Orchard was announced last month when Meghan returned to Instagram after a four-year absence and launched the brand’s account. (American Riviera Orchard appears to be a continuation of Megan’s now-defunct blog The Tig.)

Us weekly has since confirmed that Megan has filed trademarks under the brand name to sell, among other things, cutlery, cookbooks and jarred food.

Abigail Spencer
Meghan’s best friend and former girlfriend Suits Costar showed off her glass (which was labeled No. 6 of 50) in photos that appeared to be taken in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s backyard — and with their dog.
“This jam is my jam,” Spender captioned the post. “A delicious taste of what’s really to come… I love you so much, M.”
Mindy Kaling
Kaling debuted her jam basket via Instagram Stories with the caption, “Obsessed.” Her glass was apparently #19 of 50 from this particular batch.
Tracee Ellis Ross
The actress shared a photo via Instagram Stories showing off her handwritten note card. Ross was ranked 21st out of 50.

Meghan’s close friend received glass number 3 out of 50 and told his Instagram followers that it was “just a taste of what’s to come.” She captioned an Instagram post, “So proud of you M.”
Delfina Blaquier
Meghan sent a basket to Harry’s best friend Nacho Figueras‘ Wife. Blaquier received glass No. 10 out of 50 and shared a photo via Instagram Stories. “Strawberry jam makes me happy,” she wrote, tagging the brand’s official account.
Tracy Robbins
The fashion designer also quickly expressed her enthusiasm about the package.
“Thank you for the delicious basket! “I absolutely love this jam so I’m not sure I’ll share it with anyone,” Robbins captioned an Instagram Story post, revealing she received jar #17 of 50. “Breakfast, lunch and dinner are a little sweeter now.”
Chrissy Teigen
Meghan sent Teigen a jar marked No. 20 and the model showed how she used the jam to make a snack for herself and her family.
“We’re jamming!!!” Teigen wrote via Instagram. “This may have been one of the best bites we’ve had all year – all we used is some rustic bread, salted butter, triple cream brie, thick-cut bacon and some jam from @americanrivieraorchard!” Overall took about 8 minutes and kept us happy the whole weekend. 🤍”
Kris Jenner
Jenner received a basket of American Riviera Orchard jam from Meghan. She showed off her package on her Instagram Stories. Her glass was No. 13 of 50.
