Sell Sunset star Mary Bonnet (née Fitzgerald) revealed that her continued fertility journey has become “complicated” for her and her husband Romain Bonnet Schedule another round of IVF.
“I had an MRI scan, a full body scan and need surgery on my uterus,” Mary, 43, said exclusively Us weekly at a party in Los Angeles where she and her husband were celebrating Bella Magazine Cover on Tuesday, April 9th. “It will be an interesting process. It won’t be as easy as we imagined.”
Mary went on to say that she was “fine” with everything regarding her fertility.
“I had a lot of time to process and it wasn’t easy at the beginning. I think I really took a stand and it became my passion to raise awareness about women’s issues,” the Netflix star continued. “I think it’s so common now. So I’m very forward-looking in this regard. But when it comes to myself, there’s not much I can do about it. Whatever happens, happens, but in the meantime I’ll try to help other women.”

Mary announced via Instagram in March 2023 that she had suffered a septic miscarriage. “We got pregnant and unfortunately it didn’t work out,” she wrote at the time, revealing she had undergone surgery. The pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage were shown on Sell Sunset Season 7, which premiered in November 2023.
she said Us on Tuesday that there was “no downside” to sharing her fertility journey so publicly.
“I was already open and you know, it doesn’t change who I am,” she added. “Even though it feels that way as a woman, it doesn’t really change your worth.”
30-year-old Romain has taken on the role of supportive husband and is standing by his wife through it all. (Mary and Romain married in October 2019.)
“Of course she has to take care of herself and then make sure everything is okay,” he shared exclusively Us on Tuesday. “I don’t want to put any pressure. If it happens, of course that would be great. … We’ll see how it goes.”

“We were finally able to relax and do this old-school Hollywood shoot,” Mary gushed. Bonnet added: “The whole team was great. [We were] just really comfortable.”
