Mark Consuelos tells of a “passionate” moment he experienced with a fellow football fan on his recent trip to Italy. On Tuesdays Live with Kelly and Markthe married father of three spoke excitedly about his weekend trip to support football club Campobasso FC, calling it “The weekend of all weekends”.
The Riverdale Alum, 53, shared that his team is a fourth division football team that needs to win their game and get another draw or go a certain way to get promoted in the league.
When both happened, Consuelos announced that all bets were off as the Campobasso crowd went wild. Consuelos showed footage of a plexiglass barrier between fans and the team and revealed a moment he shared with another fan.
“I see this lady. Let’s call her my aunt,” Consuelos joked. “We look at each other and she’s so excited and there’s this glass and we get to the glass and, you know what, I kissed her.”
Consuelos’ wife and co-host, Kelly RipaShe asked if her husband had any “footage” of the kiss, for which he supposedly closed his eyes.
“That does not happen. You never close your eyes!” exclaimed a shocked Ripa.
“I closed my eyes and my back foot slid up like that,” Consuelos said, teasing a foot pop.
“That’s unbelievable, with your mouth open?” Ripa pressed.
“No, like a hickey, but it was passionate,” Consuelos replied, laughing.
Ripa asked her husband if he was having “an emotional affair,” to which he laughed and said, “It could have been a man by the way, I don’t know.”
But Ripa didn’t buy it.
“Don’t try to save yourself now!” “You’ve already had to call this someone else’s aunt,” Ripa retorted.
Ripa also noted that the Plexiglas her husband had been “messing with” had recently been wiped with the naked bodies of sweaty football players.
Coincidentally, Consuelos’ passionate moment came just before he and Ripa are set to celebrate their 28th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.
The couple eloped in Las Vegas in 1996 and returned to the chapel in February, where they tied the knot.
“My goodness, this place is timeless.” Consuelos told ET. “It’s almost like a time capsule…It’s almost exactly the same.”
“It’s stuck in time,” Ripa added with a smile.
Consuelos and Ripa – who met while working together on the daytime soap opera All my children – took refuge in the bell chapel in May 1996.
Ripa and Consuelos share three children – Michael (26), Lola (22) and Joaquin (21).
At the end of April, Consuelos and Ripa celebrated her Daytime Emmy nomination with ET At the Time 100 Gala.
“I think we did a really good job together,” Consuelos shared. “I was just saying how fast this year is. It was probably the fastest year of my life. We had lots of fun.”
