She was the first actress in the industry to buy a Porsche 911 Carrera S sports car. It looks like she is a big Porsche fan and has now bought herself a brand new Porsche Taycan electric sports car.

The pictures of Mamta Mohandas’ car have surfaced online on various social media profiles. It looks like the image was first shared by Call of Cars, a detailing studio in Kochi. In these pictures we only see the car; The actress has not been seen driving yet. It looks like Mamta just bought the car and took it to the detail studio.
The Porsche Taycan seen here in the video is in the Crayon color. The Taycan is Porsche’s first attempt at building an electric sports car and it looks like they’ve got the formula right. It is a four-door sports car that was introduced back in 2019. According to several online posts, Mamta Mohandas bought this Taycan to replace her bright yellow 911 Carrera S.
After its international debut in 2019, Porsche introduced the Taycan in India in 2022. It is available in India in Taycan RWD, Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo and Taycan Turbo S variants. It is not known which exact variant of the Taycan Mamta has chosen. The Turbo and Turbo S variants have nothing to do with the engine, but are simply variants. The price of a brand new Taycan starts at Rs 1.61 crore ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 2.44 crore ex-showroom.
The top-end Turbo S variant gets an AWD system while all other lower versions are 2WD variants. An electric motor is mounted on the front and rear axles and powers the car. Both engines together produce 761 hp and a maximum torque of 150 Nm. Porsche has limited the Taycan’s top speed to 260 km/h and it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
In addition to the bright yellow Porsche Carrera S, which she replaced with her new Taycan, Mamta’s car collection also includes a BMW Z4 convertible sports car. At the beginning of the year, the actress received her new BMW Z4.
The car is painted in a beautiful Thundernight metallic color. She bought the M40i variant, which features a Cerium Gray painted grille and mirror caps as well as a trapezoidal exhaust system.
The BMW Z4 is powered by a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder biturbocharged gasoline engine that produces 335 hp and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. The car is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h. Mamta Mohandas is quite the petrolhead and we are dying to know why she replaced the 911 Carrera S.
It is quite possible that the actress switched to the Taycan as it has four doors and does not compromise on performance.
