Major League Cricket (MLC) is preparing for its second season, which begins July 5. This year’s edition will be larger with six additional league games, according to organizers, who announced the tournament’s schedule on Tuesday.
Following the league phase, the excitement continues with a four-game playoff series in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Six teams are fighting for the coveted title
The format remains the same as the first season and includes six teams: MI New York, Texas Super Kings, LA Knight Riders, Seattle Orcas, Washington Freedom And San Francisco Unicorns.
Defending champion WED New York will clash with the 2023 runner-up Seattle orcas in the opening game on July 5th. Later that same day, the Texas Super Kings will face off LA Knight Riders in Texas.
The tournament final is scheduled for July 28th.
