After nearly two decades on the air, Zach Roloff And Tori Roloff have officially said goodbye Small people, big world.
The couple appeared on the Season 25 finale of the TLC reality series, which aired on Tuesday, April 23. As a result, 33-year-old Zach continued to butt heads with his father. Matt Roloffwho chose not to sell him their family farm.
“I’ve spent a lot of time outdoors and I definitely want to have the same experience for our kids,” Zach said in a confessional, referring to his and Tori’s children, Jackson, 6, Lilah, 4, and Josiah, 23 months. “No one holds grudges, no one intentionally doesn’t go to the farm, there’s just no interest. The children don’t ask, we don’t hide anything from them.”
He added: “When it comes to my dad, I don’t know… that ship has all sailed. There’s no big relationship, we just do our own thing. Time could even out, everything will heal, it will just be different.”
Matt, 62, discussed her argument with his fiancée. Caryn Chandler, noting that he wants to build a playground on his property for his grandchildren. “I always hope that Zach and Tori bring the kids, and if not, the kids will come later in life,” he told Caryn.
However, his fiancée remained less optimistic, telling Matt: “I think we’ve just agreed that they don’t want a relationship and you just have to accept that.”
Zach is one of Matt and’s eldest sons Amy Roloff, who split in 2016. The former couple also has sons Jeremy (Zach’s twin) and Jacob, and daughter Molly. Following Matt and Amy’s divorce, TLC matriarch Matt sold her interest in her Roloff Farms estate in Oregon.
Almost five years later, in 2021, Matt decided against selling some of the land to Zach before putting 16 acres up for sale. He claimed that none of his children wanted to inherit the farm, which Zach has denied.
Zach and Tori, 31, confirmed their departure from the family’s reality series in a YouTube video posted in February. “We’re not coming back Small people, big world. “We’re done,” Tori said. “This chapter is closed.”
Zach echoed his wife’s sentiments, noting that there were “multiple reasons” for the couple’s exit from the series, which premiered in 2006. “This last cycle was tough between the family, the farm deal and we were done with it,” he said. “We’ve moved on.”
