Lindsay Hubbard is very unimpressed by it Carl Radke‘s latest discussions about their relationship.
On Thursday, April 25, episode of summer houseRadke, 39, confided in his mother and stepfather about the problems he was having with his fiancée. When a Bravo fansite later asked viewers to share their thoughts on the scene, Hubbard, 37, decided to comment.
“He should get into gardening,” she wrote in the comments section on Friday, April 26, before adding a seedling emoji.
Shortly after the post surfaced, fans began asking what Hubbard’s comment really meant.
“Perhaps a reference on planting seeds?” Bravo comments posted online. Another user added: “I can’t tell if she’s referring to the fact that he’s planting seeds for his family to support a breakup or if she’s referring to him using weed.”
Hubbard has questioned her co-star’s sobriety in recent episodes of summer house. In January, Radke celebrated his three-year clean and denied taking any drugs this season.
While chatting with his parents on this week’s episode, Radke gave insight into the ups and downs of his relationship with Hubbard, saying, “There was a time where I literally didn’t talk to anyone about anything in our relationship because I lived in fear that if I revealed something and Lindsay found out I was talking about our relationship with someone, I would get in trouble.”
His parents then wondered if it might be best to take a break from weddings and focus on the relationship instead.
In August 2023 the summer house The stars called off their engagement less than three months before they were set to tie the knot in Mexico. Cameras are expected to document their decision as season eight continues to air in May.
Another hurdle the couple faced before their split was Radke’s struggle to find a job. When Hubbard thought about starting a family, she wanted to make sure her partner had a stable career and could contribute financially.
When he spoke about their future, however, Hubbard wasn’t sure Radke heard her.
“If I’m the one who carries the child for nine months and I’m the one who manages everything and I’m the one who does this and that, then I need… I’m trying everything humanly possible to light a fire for this man ” she said on Summer House: After Show. “I deserve a chance to take a real break.”
“Most men think I’m going to figure this out because I want a family and if you’re going to have to rip your damn asshole and vagina open to get our child out of you…then you better do damn work,” Hubbard continued. “Do something. Help me.”
summer house airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo and is available to stream the next day on Peacock.
