Brad Pitt received a warm welcome upon his arrival on set Dave. The Oscar winner returned to television for a surprise appearance last year in the third season finale of Lil Dickyis the 2011 FXX comedy series and marks his first appearance in a small comedy since then Friends in 2001.
“Brad Pitt is definitely the coolest guy I’ve ever met in my life,” said Lil Dicky, who also goes by Dave Burd Travis Kelce And Jason Kelce on Wednesday’s episode of NFL Stars New heights Podcast. Burd is the real-life mastermind behind rap personality Lil Dicky as well as the creator and star of Dave.
Pitt played a fictional version of himself in the episode, centered around a crazy fan holding the stars hostage.
“Unfortunately, at the moment he walked on set, I was filming the scene where the stalker is making a mold of my lower half,” Burd continued New heights. “So I got to meet Brad Pitt, literally, completely naked, covered, in, so to speak, mud, with, so to speak, the outline of my cock, so to speak, visible.”
Luckily for Burd, Pitt didn’t seem to be fazed by the situation.
The 36-year-old rapper admits that “you never know” what to expect from a star’s temperament in real life, but that Pitt’s charisma was flawless.
“He seems cool, but sometimes guys have personalities that are really cool and when you meet them they’re shy or just not fun to hang out with,” he shared. “This guy was the man. And he was so nice to everyone on set.”
The collaboration came about after Pitt responded to a “cold email” from Burd inviting him to take part in the show. On Wednesday, Burd praised Pitt as a consummate professional.
Explaining how a stand-in can be used in scenes where a character is shot from behind, Burd said he offered Pitt “every opportunity” to leave the set early over the course of four late-night shoots.
“I found a man who looked exactly like Brad Pitt from behind, wearing the exact same clothes Brad would wear, and I gave Brad everything,” Burd said. “You know, ‘You don’t have to wait at 3 a.m. to shoot my coverage. And he was like, ‘I would never go.'”
DaveThe third season of 2019 featured a star-studded guest lineup, with Rachel McAdams Delivering a three-episode arc and drake There was another surprise appearance in the final. Another memorable episode in which the fictional Dave attends the Met Gala, with Jack Harlow, Travis Barker, Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox and a flatulent Don Cheadle.
The star has since announced that he intends to take an extended break from the show to pursue other projects. At the beginning of the year he released his latest album, Penithwhich features his original songs from the series.
“I obviously love the show, it’s a dream to do this show,” Burd continued New heights.
“There are so many things I want to do, whether it be making music, writing films or developing other shows,” he continued. “I don’t want to do the same thing over and over again every year. There’s just other things I want to do, so I’m looking forward to all these different endeavors, and I finally get the time to focus on what I would focus on. “I didn’t have that in the season.”
Of course, the Philadelphia native and long-time Eagles fan also had a lot to say about sports. Jason’s ability to continually bring him to tearsand offered a Hot take on Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift.
“I just think there’s something that makes everyone feel like the world is a little bit like high school, where the most popular pop star, the beloved musician, somehow met the most popular, beloved athlete, and they actually fell in love “And that’s it for real,” Burd suggested. “I don’t know, I think anyone who hates it is a sore loser. But I think a lot of people do [you] might expect them to hate it, actually love it, and acknowledge that they love it because there’s just something so American about it or something. There’s just something classic about it.”
Travis responded with a joke and cracked, “I don’t know how I did that because she wasn’t interested in sports.” So I don’t know how the hell I did that.”
A source in the midst of their travels said ET“Taylor and Travis are enjoying their time off together. They value the here and now and the love they share with each other. When they can simply switch off, they enjoy spending time with their friends and family or traveling, seeing new things together and enjoying their privacy.”
Shortly after, ET spoke with Travis, who open about why his relationship with Swift works amid their busy careers.
“We’re both very career-oriented,” he said. “We both love what we do, and every opportunity that I can show her my support – and knowing that she’s showing me all the support in the world all season long – it’s just been an incredible experience getting to know Tay.”
