Popular television actress Krishna Mukherjee gained popularity through her role in the popular daily soap. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Over the course of her more than decade-long career in the entertainment industry, she has appeared in other popular series such as: Naagin 3, Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein, Shubh Shagun and more. Recently, Krishna took to her Instagram account to share a harrowing experience she had on the sets of Auspicious Shagunwhere she played Dhami alongside Shehzada.
Krishna Mukherjee shares that she was harassed by the producer of Shubh Shagun
Krishna took to her Instagram account on April 26, 2024 and in a post talked about how she has suffered in the last year and a half. She revealed that she didn’t have the courage to talk about the topic before, but now she has decided not to hold back any longer. The actress tagged producer Kundan Singh in her post and added that she was repeatedly harassed by the production house and the producer himself. Krishna revealed that she never wanted to work on the show and said:
“I never had the courage to speak my heart, but today I decided to stop holding it back. I’m going through tough times and the last year and a half hasn’t been easy for me at all. I am depressed, anxious and crying.” When I was alone, it all started when I started doing my last show Shubh Shagun for Dangal TV. It was the worst decision of my life, but I listened to others and signed the contract. The production house and producer @kundan.singh.official have harassed me so many times.”

In the same post, Krishna mentioned that she was locked in her makeup room due to her unwellness and decided not to shoot as she wasn’t even paid. The actress also added that they knocked on her door as it was broken while she was changing. Furthermore, their payments have not been cleared for five months to date. In her words:
“They even locked me in my makeup room once because I wasn’t feeling well and I decided not to shoot because they didn’t pay me for my work. I haven’t paid for my clothes in 5 months. And it is a really big amount that I had in the production house and Dangal office.

Krishna also shared that she was threatened many times which left her scared and broken. She said she asked many people for help but no one could help her. Furthermore, the actress added that she is not currently working on shows for this very reason as she fears the same thing could happen again. She also called for justice in her post.
Along with the post containing the details of her harrowing experience, she also wrote another note in the caption, saying that her hands were still shaking as she wrote about it, but she had to do it. Krishna shared that she suffered from anxiety and depression due to this and while people on social media hide their emotions and show the more positive side of their life, she wanted to reveal her reality. In her words:
“My hands are still shaking as I write this, but I had to do it. I suffer from anxiety and depression because of this. We hide our feelings and show the lighter side on social media. But that’s the reality. My family asked me not to post this because they are still afraid, what if these people harm you? But why should I be afraid? This is my right and I need justice.

As soon as she posted this on her Instagram, numerous people showed their support for her. Actress Shireen Mirza said, “I have seen you being patient and calm but not anymore baby. I’m glad you talked about this because we need justice. Time to take serious action!!! Stay strong.” Aditi Bhatia wrote, “Justice must be served. I feel sick knowing what you went through.” Shraddha Arya wrote, “This is terrible, let’s all come together and serve them properly!!!! You are not alone @krishna_mukherjee786!!!”
