Here’s why Khloé Kardashian revealed
On a recent episode of the SHE MD podcast, Kardashian revealed that she had Thompson take three paternity tests after her son was born.
“I had Tristan do three DNA tests for Tatum. He was so insulted,” she explained.
As the conversation continued, it emerged that she requested the DNA testing because she felt Tatum looked nothing like her or Thompson.
“And because [Tatum] Was a surrogate baby or an IVF baby, I was like, ‘Rob, have you ever donated sperm anywhere?'” Kardashian said jokingly.
Despite the joke, Kardashian believed her son looked “exactly like” her brother Rob Kardashian Jr.
“In this family, that wouldn’t surprise me, but that would be so disgusting,” she said, referencing her previous joke. “But I remember her [the doctor] was like, “You already took a DNA test!” [but] I [said]’I have to do another one, I have to figure it out.'”
Ultimately, Kardashian was able to confirm that Tatum was indeed her and Thompson’s biological son.

Khloé Kardashian has been vocal about her recent motherhood journey
As The Shade Room previously reported, Kardashian and Thompson welcomed their youngest child together via surrogate in June 2022. Since then, Kardashian has opened up more about her recent motherhood journey.
In December 2022, Kardashian shared a rare glimpse of Tatum when he was just five months old. However, she had not revealed his name at that time.
In April 2023, Kardashian hinted that her son’s name started with a “T.” At the time, she also explained why she didn’t name him immediately after he was born, according to The Shade Room.
“He was born through a surrogate mother, or the stork as I like to say, and at first I didn’t know what to name him. I wanted to meet him and get to know him a little bit, so he didn’t have a name at first,” she explained during her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
The following month, Kardashian revealed her son’s name to the world, according to The Shade Room. Then, in July 2023, Kardashian gave the world a first look at Tatum to mark his first birthday, according to The Shade Room.
At the time, Kardashian wrote a sweet message to her son, telling him how “sweet and precious” she thought he was and why her heart needed him.
Then, in September 2023, reports surfaced that Kardashian had officially changed Tatum’s name to Tatum Thompson. At the time, reports said the alleged name Kardashian originally gave Tatum on his birth certificate.
