Earlier this week, Prince William stopped by James’ Place in Newscastle, a suicide prevention center for men, and was asked at one point about his wife and children.
The question came up after Kate Middleton was diagnosed with cancer.
“We are all well, thank you,” replied the Prince of Wales. “We are all fine.”
However, we now have reason to believe that this may not be the case.
Speaking to The Telegraph a few days ago, Amaia Arrieta – the designer behind many of the looks worn by the couple’s children over the years – said something that went extremely viral.
“I am heartbroken at the moment. I think they’re going through hell,” the fashion expert said of Kate and William, adding:
“I hope they come back. It’s really personal.”
This revealing quote caused great concern among many royal family observers.
Amaia went on to say how honored she feels to have helped dress the royals…since Prince George, 10, wore her brand’s corduroy shorts in a 2014 Christmas photo.
Recently, Princess Charlotte was pictured wearing the designer’s checkered skirt on Mother’s Day – yes, we’re talking about the photo that sparked a bit of controversy over the editing.
“Dressing the royals makes me so proud, I really care about how they look,” the designer told the Telegraph.
“They popularized the traditional and classic way of dressing children.”
That’s great, but the focus now is entirely on how Middleton is feeling these days.
In late March, Middleton appeared in a video giving a self-written speech confirming her unfortunate cancer news.
Post-surgical tests from her “scheduled abdominal surgery” in January revealed that “cancer was present,” prompting her to begin chemotherapy, she explained at the time.
Middleton called the news a “huge shock” and said she and her husband “have done everything we could to process and manage the matter privately for the benefit of our young family.”
“As you can imagine, this took some time. It took me some time to recover from the serious surgery before I could begin treatment.
“Most importantly, we needed time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that was appropriate for them and to reassure them that I would be fine.”
We don’t know much about Kate Middleton’s cancer treatment, as she and her loved ones have said very little about the star’s health in recent weeks.
But Kate’s diagnosis came weeks after her father-in-law, King Charles, announced it on February 5 He was also being treated for cancer.
There’s a lot going on across the UK these days.
“During King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, another point of concern was highlighted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer,” the palace said in a statement at the time.
“His Majesty began a regular treatment schedule today, with doctors advising him to postpone public duties.
“During this period, His Majesty will continue to conduct state business and official formalities as usual.”
