After Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan gave birth to their baby boy Taimur, they faced a lot of criticism over the choice of their son’s name. In an old interview, Bebo revealed how people’s concerns over her baby boy’s name had made her cry. In an old interview with Barkha Dutt, Kareena shared that as a mother and as an individual, she was very scared of what was happening around Taimur’s name.

Kareena added that as a mother of her child, she is faced with the decision of naming her child and hence no one should worry about it. Talking about how Taimur was photographed at a young age, which confused her, Kareena said,
“It deeply hurt me as a person and as a mother. Because what I name my child and what I name him is completely my decision and no one else cares. It started with this note, and then he was photographed everywhere, and I thought this happened because he was just a two-month-old baby and had barely opened his eyes.
Kareena Kapoor recalled crying when someone asked Taimur’s name a few hours after his birth
Later in the interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan opened up about a heartbreaking incident soon after Taimur’s birth that brought tears to her eyes. The actress said that just eight hours after Taimur’s birth, a famous person visited her in the hospital and then started expressing concern about her son’s name. Kareena stated that the famous person also asked the actress why she named her baby Taimur. The actress also added that after one such incident, she was left crying and that person was asked to leave the hospital. Kareena was quoted as saying:
“There was a famous person who had a really good time coming to the hospital under the pretense of a visit and he congratulated me and then said, ‘What’s wrong with you? Why should you name your son Taimur? I had actually just given birth to him eight hours ago.” Some time ago I started crying and he was asked to leave.

In an interview with India Today, Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked for any advice to Alia Bhatt on how to deal with the paparazzi culture. On this, Kareena said that people just have to learn to live with it and understand that the more you run away, the harder it will be. She also shared that she has no problem with her sons being clicked, but she doesn’t understand why people keep clicking on him.
