Laboy asked Ye who he would accompany into the bedroom with him and his wife Bianca Censori for a hypothetical threesome.
Although Laboy implied that he knew the answer, Kanye interrupted him and blurted out his answer. The answer? Former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Kanye West’s response was unexpected and completely inappropriate. That’s very Kanye of him. It’s also unclear whether he meant what he said – which is also on-brand for Ye.
Both men laughed at Kanye’s response and Ye then announced, “I have to fuck the president’s wife!”
Is it normal for someone to say that? One should hope so. But Ye is notorious for his inflammatory, often spontaneous statements that seem designed to shock.
Kanye West has a strange history with the Obamas
Apparently, Ye is prone to saying everything from vicious anti-Semitism to confessing family secrets.
However, he has a strange connection to President Barack Obama.
Ye notoriously appeared (at times) as an outspoken supporter of disgraced former President Donald Trump. But there was one Time as he appeared somewhat friendly to the 44th POTUS.
Both the former president and Ye have roots in Chicago. However, Kanye’s history of making outlandish (and malicious) statements has been alienating much from people.
As for Ye and 44, that dates back to 2009. After Kanye’s infamous stunt at the VMAs where he snatched the microphone from Taylor Swift much Early in her career, President Obama aptly described him as a “jackass.”
Like many other points of criticism, this didn’t go down well with Kanye West. He resented Obama after that, and even more so when Ye became politically radicalized in the worst way imaginable.
He’s probably joking (probably)
To be honest, it’s entirely possible – even likely – that Kanye is joking. That he blurted out the most inappropriate name he could think of at the moment.
Sometimes very funny people cross the line to be funny. In other cases, people with unmedicated mental illness say strange things because they don’t have a filter. Both can apply to the same person at the same time.
But we wish Ye would make more ethical decisions, be more considerate, and take care of his psychiatric needs. There are (still) people who love him and would like to see how he behaves.
