Just a day ago, Kangana Ranaut was heavily criticized for her speech in which she claimed that she deserves the most respect in the industry after Amitabh Bachchan. This video clip in which she made “lofty claims” about her fame in Bollywood led netizens to slam the actress and many of them even remarked that the actress has made 15 consecutive flops. Reacting to this, Kangana took to her social media to share a note asking users, “If not her, then who?”

Readers are aware that Kangana is currently busy with her election campaign as the actress has entered politics as a BJP candidate from Mandi constituency, which falls under her hometown Himachal Pradesh. In a video of her campaign speech that hit the internet, Kangana was seen saying, “Sara desh hairaaan hai, ki wo Kangana, chahe mai Rajasthan chali jau, chahe mai West Bengal chali jau, chahe mai Delhi chali jau, chahe mai Manipur.” chali jau Jau, it feels like I have so much love and so much respect… I can say that after Amitabh Bachchan ji, today someone in every industry meets me (The whole nation is surprised that, Kangana Be it Rajasthan, West Bengal, Delhi or Manipur, I feel that I have been shown so much love and respect that I can assure you all: If there is anyone in the industry after Amitabh Bachchan who has done so much gets respect, then that’s the case for me).”
Her speech sparked outrage on social media, where many took to the stage to condemn the actress for the statement. “Peak of self-obsession,” one user claimed, while another added, “After giving flops after flops, Kangana Ranaut compares herself to Amitabh Bachchan.” This is the biggest insult to Amitabh Bachchan..” Due to this reaction, Kangana decided , hitting back and sharing another post, but this time on her Instagram story.
In the post, she wrote, “I have clearly mentioned Bharat and its various states where as an artist I receive overwhelming love and recognition for my art, as well as my integrity as a nationalist, not just my acting but also my work towards women empowerment is widely appreciated.” . I have a question for those who object: If not me after Big B, then who gets the most love and respect from Hindi films in Bharat? Khans? Kapoor’s? WHO??? Can I please know that too, I would correct myself?”
