Just Launched Mahindra XUV 3XO: Which Variant Offers What? [Video]

Finally, after days of teasing, Mahindra has unveiled the latest version of its subcompact SUV, the XUV 3XO (formerly known as XUV300). This time the company left no stone unturned. It offers this SUV with a number of industry-first features. In total, there are 9 main variants of the new XUV 3XO. So if you’re thinking about getting one, here are the details of each variant.

Mahindra XUV 3XO MX1

The basic equipment of the new Mahindra XUV 3XO is the MX1 variant. It is priced at Rs. 7.49 lakh. This variant will be equipped with a 111 hp turbo petrol engine. It is paired with a manual transmission.

In terms of features, the MX1 offers essential amenities such as halogen projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, electronic stability control (ESC) and six airbags.

This variant also has practical features such as rear ventilation slots, adjustable headrests for the second row and a 60:40 split rear seat.

Mahindra XUV 3XO MX2

Let’s come to the variant directly above the basic MX1 – it is the MX2 equipment. Mahindra has the MX2 variant priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh. The MX2 variant is optionally available with a 117 hp diesel engine paired with a manual transmission.

In terms of features, it is offered with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering wheel-mounted controls and remote keyless entry. In addition, it has a set of 4 speakers.

Mahindra XUV 3XO MX2 Pro

Above the MX2 variant is the MX2 Pro fairing. The price ranged from Rs. 8.99 Lakh to Rs. 10.49 Lakh. The MX2 Pro variant offers versatility in engine options.

Options now include the 111hp turbo petrol engine, available with both manual and automatic transmissions. Like the diesel engine, it is available with a manual transmission. Feature upgrades over the MX2 include a single-pane sunroof and wheel covers.

Mahindra XUV 3XO MX3

Priced between Rs. 9.49 lakh to Rs. 11.99 lakh, the MX3 variant of the XUV 3XO comes with a range of engine and transmission options. It includes turbo gasoline and diesel engines with manual or automatic transmissions.

The biggest difference is in the equipment list. The MX3 variant gets a larger 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system. It also has wireless Android Auto, wired Apple CarPlay and cruise control. Unfortunately, this variant still features hubcaps instead of alloy wheels.

Mahindra XUV 3XO MX3 Pro

Positioned above the MX3, the MX3 Pro variants are priced between Rs. 9.99 lakh to Rs. 11.49 lakh. The MX3 Pro variant comes with a few more premium features. The list of its features includes Bi-LED projector headlights, LED daytime running lights with front turn signals and a rear LED light bar.

Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5

We are moving towards the higher end of the XUV 3XO variants. The company offers this SUV in AX5 trim. The price ranged from Rs. 10.69 lakh to Rs. 12.89 lakh.

Like the other lower trim levels, the AX5 has a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. However, this variant now has Adrenox Connected Car technology with integrated Alexa. It is also equipped with the first dual-zone automatic climate control in this segment.

Other features include 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a rearview camera, push-button start/stop and a tire pressure monitoring system. It also features electronic folding ORVMs, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic headlights and 6 speakers.

Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 L

Priced at Rs. 11.99 lakh, the AX5 L variant introduces a more powerful 131bhp turbo petrol engine paired with manual or automatic transmission. Meanwhile, in terms of features, the AX5 offers Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). The XUV 3XO is the only vehicle in the subcompact SUV segment to offer this feature.

In addition to ADAS, the company also offers the XUV 3XO with a 360-degree camera with blind vision monitor. The AX5 L (Luxury) features also include an electronic parking brake with automatic hold function and a cooled glove compartment.

Mahindra XUV 3XO AX7

Let’s move on to the second best variant of the Mahindra XUV 3XO. The company has the AX7 trim priced between Rs. 12.49 lakh to Rs. 14.49 lakh. The AX7 variant of the XUV 3XO adds more premium luxury and technology to the vehicle.

It offers a panoramic sunroof, a premium Harman Kardon sound system, leatherette upholstery and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Other feature upgrades include LED fog lights, front parking sensors and 65W USB-C fast charging.

Mahindra XUV 3XO AX7 L

At the top of the range is the AX7 L variant of the XUV 3XO. The price of this variant ranges from Rs. 13.99 Lakh to Rs. 15.49 Lakh. Additional features include Level 2 ADAS and a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor.
