What do I need to know about the fighters?

McCaskill arrives as a two-weight world champion after being undisputed welterweight champion and holding the WBC and WBA super lightweight belts. She made her professional debut with a second-round stoppage win over Tyrea Nichole Duncan in August 2015 before suffering a split decision loss to Katonya Fisher in her second outing.

The 39-year-old finished second in a unanimous decision loss to Katie Taylor for the WBA lightweight title in December 2017, but became world champion in her next fight, defeating Erica Farias to capture the WBC light welterweight crown.

McCaskill secured undisputed supremacy in the welterweight division on August 15, 2022, when she became the first person to defeat Cecilia Braekhus and also won the rematch a year later. Since then, she suffered a unanimous decision loss to Chantelle Cameron in 2022 and most recently played a split decision draw against Sandy Ryan.

Price has a highly decorated amateur record, having previously been an Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth Games middleweight champion.

Her success in the ring followed success as a four-time world kickboxing champion and a career as a footballer for Cardiff City and Wales.

The 29-year-old is unbeaten 6-0 since her professional debut against Valgerdur Gudstensdottir in June 2022. In May 2023 she defeated Kirstie Bavington to win the first British women’s welterweight title, most recently recording a points win against Silvia Bortot in December 2023.
