Jessica Biel (The sinner) and Elizabeth Banks (Call Jane) will executive produce and star The better sister, a thriller based on the novel by Alafair Burke. In a competitive situation, the project landed with a series order from Prime Video. It comes from Tomorrow Studios, which will produce alongside Amazon MGM Studios.
Olivia Milk (Ocean’s 8), who wrote the pilot, and Regina Corrado (Mayor of Kingstown) serve as executive producers and showrunners The better last oner that meditates on the terrible things that drive sisters apart and ultimately bring them back together. This is the story of Chloe (Biel), who moves through the world with her handsome lawyer husband Adam and their teenage son Ethan by her side, while her estranged sister Nicky (Banks) struggles to stay clean and make ends meet get. When Adam is brutally murdered, the prime suspect shocks the family and brings long-hidden secrets to light.
Craig Gillespie (Pam & Tommy) will direct the series and co-produce with Annie Marter via Fortunate Jack Productions. In addition to Milch and Corrado, the EPs also include Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements and Alissa Bachner via Tomorrow Studios (One piece), a partnership with ITV Studios as well as Banks, Biel and Michelle Purple. The author Burke is employed as a consultant.

She will next be seen alongside Ethan Hawke and Daniel Radcliffe blacka film that tells the true story of a trio of pioneering mountaineers who attempted the most difficult route up the famous El Capitan peak in Yosemite National Park in the early 1970s.
