“The allegations are not only false but deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved. This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous,” the 46-year-old rapper said in a statement shared via Instagram on Thursday, April 25. “It is disheartening to witness the manipulation and deception that is at play and is my primary focus at this time. “My concern is to be an active father to our daughter while I continue to fight for court-ordered joint custody.”

Jeezy’s denial came hours after Mai filed court documents – which were obtained by Us — in Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court, alleging that her estranged husband had “explosive outbursts” and engaged in “excessive drinking and domestic violence” during their relationship.

In the initial divorce filing, Jeezy described their union as “irretrievably broken” and “without hope of reconciliation.” While the paperwork was filed in September 2023, he had signed the documents in June this year, revealing that they are “currently living in a real state of separation.”
When Mai responded to the divorce petition in November 2023, she alluded to infidelity in her marriage. Jeezy has since denied these allegations.
