While attending the heated clash between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday, she wore a blue T-shirt with ‘Mahi’ written on it, a subtle but effective advertisement for her upcoming film Mr. and Mrs. Work.

Mr. and Mrs. Work marks Janhvi’s exciting foray into the world of sports drama, where she plays a cricketer. The film promises to be a delightful mix of romance, comedy and sportsmanship with Janhvi taking center stage and proving her versatility as an actress. Janhvi underwent rigorous training and immersed herself in the world of cricket to ensure authenticity and depth in her character. The cinema release is scheduled for May 31st. Mr. and Mrs. Work has already caused quite a stir. The upcoming film directed by Sharan Sharma is the fourth release after Janhvi Kapoor Dhadak, RoohiAnd Mili.
This year promises to be even busier for them as two more films hit theaters: the thriller Ulajh and the Pan-India Project cattle alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. She has that too RC16 alongside Ram Charan and Tulsi Kumari from Sunny Sanskritiwhere she plays the lead role opposite Varun Dhawan.
