With GT at 136 runs in the 18th over and Rahul Tewatia RCB were steadily amassing runs and had the crucial task ahead of them of dismissing Tewatia and restricting GT to a total of under 150. Tewatia’s impressive presence at the crease, scoring 35 runs off just 20 balls, suggested GT had the potential to surpass the 150-plus mark.

But in a crucial turn of events, Tewatia’s attempt to guide GT to an impressive score ended abruptly on the last ball of the 18th over Yash Dayal. Tewatia tried to take control with a powerful strike and tried to get a short delivery bowled by Vyshak over the line. Still, his execution failed, resulting in a top edge that sent the ball flying toward the deep third. With precise timing and athleticism, Vyshak sprinted to the right, executed a flawless dive and secured the catch in an impressive display of fielding prowess

Following Tewatia’s departure, GT struggled to increase his run total, managing just 11 runs before being bowled out for 147 runs. Despite a shaky start at 19/3, contributions from David Miller, Shah Rukh Khan and Tewatia helped GT achieve a respectable result. Mohammed SirajDayal and Vyshak starred with two wickets each for RCB.
