Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) experienced a disheartening loss Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 41st game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. RCB opted to bat first and posted a respectable total of 206 runs for the loss of 7 wickets, with notable contributions from Virat Kohli (51 of 43), Rajat Patidar (50 out of 20) and Cameron Green (37 out of 20).
In response, SRH’s vaunted top order failed against the RCB bowlers. Despite the efforts of Shahbaz Ahmed (40 of 37) and Pat Cummins (31 off 15) towards the end, SRH trailed by 35 runs. The disappointing performance of the SRH batters on their home ground visibly frustrated the team owner Kavya Maranwhose exasperated reaction was caught on camera.
