It’s really difficult to nail car paint colors, and few automakers succeed as frequently as Jeep, whose enthusiast off-road vehicles are offered in a variety of bright, fun colors. And for the first time ever, a new shade is now available to Gladiator buyers.

The Tuscadero debuted on the Wrangler in 2021 and 30,000 customers ordered an SUV with pink paint. However, this is the first time Jeep has offered this option on the Gladiator pickup, and that’s thanks to customer demand.

“Our passionate Jeep fans asked for this limited edition color for the Gladiator. We heard them,” said Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand – North America. “Now Gladiator is both the only pickup truck that offers open-air freedom and the only pickup truck available in Tuscadero.”

The paint option adds $895 to the Gladiator’s price and is offered alongside seven other exterior colors, including the new for 2024 Anvil. Initially, Tuscadero will only be available on the Sport, Mojave and Rubicon trim levels, but it will be available in the coming months expanded to include additional equipment variants.
For 2024, the Gladiator – and also the Wrangler – are about $3,000 more expensive in standard trim than the 2023 model. These include first- and second-row side airbags, forward collision warning (in Sport S and above), advanced cruise control with stop, the Uconnect 5 infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and more.
After a few difficult years, Jeep is trying to win customers back to the brand. In 2023, the automaker’s sales fell for the fifth consecutive year, and its new CEO said the brand aims to reverse that trend, particularly in North America.
The Jeep Gladiator is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 285 hp (212 kW / 289 hp) and 260 lb-ft (353 Nm) of torque. It has a payload capacity of 1,725 lbs (782 kg) and can tow up to 7,700 lbs (3,493 kg), as well as being a capable off-roader.
