Samsung bullied The Galaxy ring Earlier this year when it introduced this Galaxy S24 series of smartphones. Naturally, this sparked a flood of rumors about what’s to come and what the wearable might look like. But Samsung still makes smartwatches too. According to hearsay, 2024 could be the year the company pulls out all the stops on its wearable offerings.
Throughout the product cycle, we rely on leaks and microphoned executives to figure out what will hit shelves next. Based on evidence circulating on Android blogs, we may know what Samsung’s smartwatch plans are for this year. It could include a Samsung Galaxy Watch FE or “Fan Edition” and a revised design for the more expensive offering. We’re also hoping for an updated look for the regular Galaxy Watch. The design is a bit old third generation.
When can new Samsung smartwatches be expected?
Samsung usually updates its smartwatches along with the release of a smartphone in the summer (in the northern hemisphere). Since Samsung ditched the Note, the company has updated its smartwatches alongside its foldable watches. As the Z Fold and Z Flip get new details, the wearables will also get new details.
Rumors claim The event will take place almost a month earlier than expected in 2024 as Samsung looks to get a head start on the Paris Olympics for promotional reasons.
Galaxy Watch 7
Will the Galaxy Watch stay round or flirt with a more rectangular shape? The Rumor mill thinks so. This lends credence to the idea that this version is designed to convert iPhone users. However, the design rumor is not confirmed.
The most significant change to the Galaxy Watch 7 may be its interior. Samsung will do it To update The watch’s processor, which will probably be more energy efficient in some ways – maybe even get ideas out of that OnePlus Watch 2Co-processor playbook.
One of the more exciting pieces of information we received this year regarding smartwatch feature offerings came directly from Samsung Press release. In February, Samsung proudly announced that the sleep apnea feature it developed for the Galaxy Watch had been approved by the FDA for US users. It had already received approval in South Korea. Samsung said the feature will be available for select wearable devices in the “third quarter” of this year and is expected to announce all new products then.
Galaxy Watch “Pro”
The Galaxy Watch 7 “Pro”, similar to the Apple Watch Ultra series, complements the regular model for everyone. It is an update of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. According to a Korean admission listit comes with a large battery, almost 600 mAh.

The Galaxy Watch FE, or “Fan Edition,” will likely be like its smartphone predecessors. It will be a cheaper way to get access to a Galaxy Watch and Samsung Health. The IMEI numbers were discovered earlier this year, but gave little clue as to what features would be included in the Fan Edition.
