Sky Sports will show over 1,000 EFL games next season. Here’s what you need to know to keep track of your team…

How many of my team’s games will be broadcast live on Sky?

Every single one League One And League Two The team will at least be seen live on Sky 20 Next season.

And each of the 24th championship Clubs will at least be seen live on Sky 24 just.

Where do I go to watch my team?

The games are broadcast live existing Sky Sports channels or on the brand new one Sky Sports+ (more on this below!)

This will effectively replace the EFL’s domestic streaming option provided via iFollow and club streaming services.

Wait, what is Sky Sports+?

With the launch in August, Sky Sports+ will be integrated Sky TVStreaming service NOW and that Sky Sports app – Sky Sports customers will get access to over 50 percent more live sport at no additional cost this year.

NO!

Customers with a full Sky Sports subscription don’t need to do anything.

Once Sky Sports+ is live, it will simply be integrated into the existing Sky experience across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, Sky Q and NOW.

Which games will be broadcast live on Sky?

Each full weekend of EFL games will feature 10 live games – including three Championship, two League One and two League Two games, all broadcast live on Saturdays at 12.30pm.

All EFL opening weekend, final day and midweek games will be broadcast live, as will all games played on public holidays including Easter, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

The scale of Sky Sports+ will be clear from the opening weekend of the 2024/25 season, when every game from all three divisions – Championship, League One and League Two – will be streamed live, a first in broadcast history.

League One and League Two games during the international breaks are also available live.

For the first time, fans will also be able to watch every game of the Carabao Cup and Bristol Street Motors Trophy.

Will the games be postponed if they are broadcast?

While some games will be postponed for broadcast purposes, the majority of fixtures will not be postponed.

How long in advance will I find out about schedule changes?

All live matches selected for broadcast up to the third round of the FA Cup in January 2025 will be communicated before the start of the season.

Live league games in August and September will initially be released in early July.

Greater equality in the selection of clubs for TV broadcasts is also guaranteed.

Will the “blackout at 3 p.m.” remain?

The broadcast ban – often referred to as “Article 48” – remains in place between 2:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. on Saturday afternoons, so that the main broadcast dates are scheduled outside this time.
