Donna Kelce Says Travis and Jason Don’t Make Good Mother’s Day Gifts

Donna Kelce doesn’t need gifts to feel her sons’ Mother’s Day love, Travis And Jason Kelce.

“Are your two boys good gifts for Mother’s Day?” Today Cohost Hoda Kotb Donna, 71, asked during her appearance on the morning show on Monday, April 29, to which she jokingly replied, “Boys usually aren’t.”

When it comes to celebrating the holidays with her kids, Donna explained that she’s “very rarely” in the same place as Travis, 34, and Jason, 36, this time of year.

“It’s her offseason,” she told Kotb, 59, and Savannah Guthrie. “So they’re gone. They go off and do their own thing, but that’s okay. I have so many blessings that I don’t care.”

Donna shares Travis and Jason with her ex-husband, Ed Kelce. After the memorable Kelce Bowl in 2023, where both brothers competed against each other in the Super Bowl, the family has continued to win hearts because of Travis’ relationship Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII victory and Jason announcing his retirement from the NFL. Donna appeared Today to share their favorite Mother’s Day gift ideas with fans, including bathrobes, a lightweight hair dryer, phone cases with chains, a cheese board and charcuterie set, and wind chimes. “You know what a good way to give is [Travis and Jason] a note? Make a whole segment on that Today Show what you want,” Guthrie, 52, joked.

When asked about her favorite Mother’s Day memories, Donna revealed that most of her memories are “sports-related,” adding, “Spending time with the moms, maybe having a drink at a baseball game and having a Solo Cup.”

Guthrie, for her part, joked that one drink “is how you get through all the baseball and football games and stuff.” (The TV personality shares daughter Vale, 9, and son Charley, 7, with her husband, Michael Feldman.)

While Donna’s Mother’s Day plans may not be set in stone just yet, she recently supported Travis and Jason at a live recording of their “New Heights” podcast at the University of Cincinnati.

“Mom Kelce wouldn’t miss her boys’ first arena show ❤️💚,” the podcast says X This page featured a photo of Donna at the Fifth Third Arena on April 11th. Donna was pictured holding balloons with Travis and Jason’s respective jerseys for the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, while wearing a black denim jacket with the names of her boys’ two NFL teams. She later appeared on stage alongside her sons and Ed as Travis and Jason received their official UC diplomas.

Earlier this month, Donna responded to rumors that Travis inspired some songs on Swift’s new album. The Tortured Poets Departmentwhich was discontinued on April 19th. “I know there are a few that some think have something to do with Travis, but we’ll just see,” she shared exclusively Us weekly on Wednesday, April 24th. “You know, I’ll have to ask her when I see her.”
