Donna Kelce is still a big fan of Son Travis‘ Relationship with Taylor Swift.
The Kelce matriarch sat down for a special Mother’s Day episode of The Martha Stewart Podcastwhere she told the lifestyle guru why her NFL star son has found so much compatibility in his high-profile romance with the midnight Singer.
“They are both friendly. They are both generous. They are both loving. “They’re both caring people,” she reflected.
“You never know,” Donna added of the couple’s possible future together. “We will see.”
Taylor certainly has some big shoes to fill when it comes to becoming a Kelce daughter-in-law. Travis’ older brother, recently retired center for the Philadelphia Eagles Jason Kelcewas married to his wife, Kyliefor six years, and the couple have three daughters together: Wyatt (4), Elliotte (3) and Bennett (1).
“[Jason] I was so lucky. “She’s amazing,” Donna gushed about her daughter-in-law. “Kylie is just one of a kind.” I can’t say enough about her. She holds the house together and she is a great woman.
However, it seems neither Kylie nor Taylor can help keep Donna’s sons on track when it comes to remembering Mother’s Day. She joked that while her boys are usually very devoted, the early May holidays often get overlooked.
“They always remember my birthday and are very generous with giving me gifts and stuff like that, going on trips and whatever, and they take care of mom,” Donna shared. “I have nothing to complain about.”
“It’s just one of those days in the middle of May, they’re off season, they’re traveling, they’re at the derby, they’re doing things, on vacation and having fun,” she noted with a laugh. “I think they miss it and they say, ‘Oh my God, Mother’s Day, I better text my mom.'”
It actually was Travis present at the Kentucky Derby this year – but without Taylor on his arm. However, the event occurred just a few weeks later The couple got off in Las Vegas to attend a charity event hosted by Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
An eyewitness said ET By the time Taylor and Travis entered the gala, they “held hands and were affectionate all night long.”
The eyewitness added that there were “lots of kisses and a general feeling of happiness between them” throughout the night. The support is there for each other.”
“The two seem to be in a good mood and definitely in love,” the eyewitness said.
Taylor will next head to Portugal to resume her record-breaking Eras Tour later this month. And while her and Travis’ relationship is constantly being photographed, Donna told Martha Stewart that she highly doubts either of her sons would want to be in front of the camera full-time, such as on their own reality show.
“I don’t think either of them want to do reality TV,” the proud mother admitted. “Travis did it a little bit right at the start of his career, but I think he decided he didn’t really want to do it 24/7.”
“They’ll do little things, he’ll do some game shows, maybe Jason will do some production work, you know, it just depends on what comes along,” she added. “They’re dealing with a lot of different things right now.”
