Donald Trump Complains About “really Bad” WHCD, Biden and Colin Jost Finally Make Fun of the Much-accused Ex-POTUS

Donald Trump’s reaction to last night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner shows that the much-accused ex-POTUS is still bad at making jokes.

Hours after President Joe Biden and Saturday Night LiveAs Colin Jost unleashed an arsenal of sharp shots against Trump from the top of WHCD 2024, the presumptive GOP nominee responded back to his Truth Social hit.

Sure, Trump bucked the consensus, declaring the Weekend Update co-host “bombed” and the current occupant of the Oval Office “an absolute disaster.” But Trump’s 1:05 a.m. ET post was much more succinct than usual and a lot lamer than previous rebuttals, receiving a dismal number of likes — as you can see below:

Of course, it should be noted that Trump has not once defied the WHCD during his difficult administration. It should also be noted that over the years many have speculated that the ridicule rained down on Trump by President Barack Obama at the 2011 WHCD was the Celebrity Apprentice Sitting a few feet away, the host was the catalyst for his successful and resentment-fueled race for the White House in 2016.

Or as the 81-year-old Biden put it to the 77-year-old Trump in the Washington Hilton ballroom last night: “I’m a grown man running against a six-year-old.”

In the third and possibly final WHCD of his presidency, Biden made a number of well-timed references to “Sleepy Don” in his brief but spirited remarks, as did Jost.

“Let me see if I can summarize where this race stands right now,” he said SNL The performer joked after POTUS spoke, but one of many jabs at Trump in front of a power player and a star-studded crowd that devoured the footage. “The Republican presidential candidate owes half a billion in bank fraud fines and currently spends his days farting awake during a porn star hush money trial and the race is tied?!”

According to polls, the 2024 rematch between Biden and Trump has been essentially unfettered for months, with occasional gaffes from both candidates.

When Trump goes on trial April 29 for his hush money trial in New York, he is fighting nearly 90 felony counts and counts of mishandling classified documents, falsifying business documents and attempting to exaggerate both 2020 federal election efforts.

While Donald Trump wasn’t at the WHCD last night, his daughter-in-law and recently appointed RNC co-chair Lara Trump was in attendance – a fact that Jost didn’t miss.

“There are so many incredible people here, Lara Trump is here tonight,” the comedian said in the middle of his routine. “She recently released a cover of the song ‘I Won’t Back Down.’ When Tom Petty heard it, he died again.”

“I can’t believe I’m saying this to a member of the Trump family, but maybe stick with politics?”
