It was reported that the couple had planned to take the trip next May, but it’s safe to speculate that the honeymoon was canceled along with the wedding.
During the Golden Bachelor When the wedding special took place on January 4, ABC treated the couple to a trip to their desired honeymoon destination, Italy.
An Instagram post that Theresa, 70, shared later that same month was the last Bachelor Nation heard of the vacation.
“It was so much fun planning and dreaming about our May honeymoon to Italy… flying to Rome, spending a few days in Tuscany and then heading to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast,” she captioned the post January 28th. “I have been to Italy twice, once when I was 18 and again to visit my daughter when she was studying abroad there. I can’t wait to experience it with Gerry!”
