The excitement extends far beyond the fans. Robert Liefeld, the creator of Deadpool, recently shared his thoughts on the film on X (formerly Twitter). Liefeld is apparently overwhelmed by the film’s action sequences and compares them favorably to the acclaimed fight scenes in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. While he’s unclear on some specific battle details, Liefeld enthusiastically declared that the film will be “right up there with the best comic book movie of all time!” He wrote on the microblogging site: “I’ve been telling everyone how great this movie looks and how it’s the BEST action since Winter Soldier.” The car fight! Forest fight! The fight! It will rival the best comic book movie of all time!”

In another post, Liefeld joined the immense hype surrounding the film as he responded to an account’s comment about the post-credits scene in the upcoming film. According to the insider, the post-credits scene is “so stunning” that they couldn’t believe the makers “did this without anyone knowing.” To which Liefeld replied: “He’s not lying to you!”

Shawn Levy takes over as director Deadpool and Wolverine, with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reprising their beloved roles. The cast also includes familiar faces like Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams and Karan Soni, as well as some exciting new additions like Emma Corrin, Rob Delaney and Matthew Macfadyen.
A strong team has assembled behind the scenes to bring this film to life. Kevin Feige, Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy and Lauren Shuler Donner serve as producers. Executive producers include Louis D’Esposito, Wendy Jacobson, Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, George Dewey and Simon Kinberg. The screenplay is a collaboration between Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells and Shawn Levy.
Deadpool and Wolverine will hit theaters on July 26 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
