Rishabh Pant played a crucial role in Delhi Capitals’ thrilling win. The left-handed batsman scored an unbeaten 88 runs off 43 deliveries with the help of five boundaries and eight sixes. The DC captain led the Delhi-based team to a challenging total of 224/4 in the allotted 20 overs.

The wicketkeeper-batter and Axar Patel, who scored 66 runs off 43 balls, rescued the team from a challenging situation with 44/3 in the powerplay. The duo added 113 runs off 68 deliveries for the fourth wicket. Pant and Tristan Stubbs added 67 runs from the last 18 deliveries in the death overs.
